Step into the garden and let's sketch some blooms together on this sunshiny day.
Here's the perfect shady spot under the cherry tree, where we can draw my pink trailing geraniums and the beautiful blue agapanthus flowers with just a few, carefully selected coloured pencils...

I have drawn many flowers over the years, as fibre-tip pen line drawings, which I then coloured using ProCreate on my iPad for my 'Flowers & Their Meanings' collection of wall art prints.

It is always lovely to approach the same subject with a different medium. Line drawing is always my favoured, 'go to' way of drawing. However, it is fascinating to see how the same hand, same method but with a different tool results in a uniquely different style.

It was certainly fun to practice on such a lovely day.
